Jamie, many thanks for sharing my collaged image of Oberammergau, Germany’s beautiful painted windows. It’s a pleasure to have discovered your blog too. 🙂
Germans and Austrians are really into painting murals on their houses.
In Ticino, the Italian part of Switzerland, many buildings are painted too, more for trompe ‘l’oeil architectural effect rather than decoration. Regardless of the purpose, it’s all beautiful to look at!
